Fundraising Update: Funds raised to date $350,070 (including pledges)

Grant Updates:

• We did not get selected by Prairie Meadows for their grant this year unfortunately, we will reapply next year.
• There are some smaller grants available, Kate and Steve will review these options and see if the Streetscape project fits the criteria of these various grant options.
• We will need to provide a check to the city in September and we need to push for additional donations to raise the remaining funds.  If committee can do this quickly there is an opportunity with the Principal Challenge Grant for a $10,000 matching gift.
• There is a Polk County grant available for $175,000 that we will apply for.
• Committee is open to new ideas to help raise funds, may consider raffle.

RCD web site will formally launch on May 17th, all the businesses in the RCD have been invited.  Excited how we will be able to use the site to help promote the businesses to the community, promoting events in the area, Streetscape progress and general information.

SSMID is moving forward, petition should be ready next week for the property owners to review and sign.
